SG Power Plus is a consulting firm based in Pune, India, founded by Engr. Suhas Ghatnekar, to assist small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) across India, the Middle East, and Africa in the diesel generator, transformer, and power equipment sectors, in building world-class facilities and achieving operational excellence.
Suhas is an Electrical Engineer from NIT Rourkela with over 35 years of leadership experience in the diesel generator and power equipment manufacturing industry. He has held key roles at CUMMINS INDIA and its esteemed channel partners, driving major initiatives in facility setup, production optimization, operations, and quality systems.
He brings a proven track record in setting up and scaling manufacturing operations, particularly in diesel genset assembly, electrical transformers, sheet metal fabrication, and surface coating lines.

Driven by a passion for diesel power generation and a commitment to empowering manufacturers, Engr. Suhas Ghatnekar founded SG Power Plus to help small and mid-sized businesses build efficient, resilient operations.
Before launching SG Power Plus, Suhas spent over three decades in the energy and power sector, with pivotal stints at CUMMINS INDIA and its trusted channel network. He played key roles in greenfield plant setups, technology transfers, and multi-location operations, always guided by his core values of integrity, innovation, and trust.
His career spans leadership across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and quality management, especially developing modern facilities for diesel gensets, electrical transformers, and precision sheet metal systems.
